Privacy and your data
CyberSahara is an independent private assistance service, not the police or a government body. This notice describes the current service. Never send banking OTPs, UPI PINs, passwords or CVV.
What we collect
Paid accounts use your email, language preference and server-managed sessions. We store case messages, optional evidence and payment records. Session/security metadata may include IP address and browser details. Free chat text goes to the configured AI provider but is not saved by CyberSahara; complaint drafts stay in your browser page.
Why we use it
We use account information to sign you in, deliver optional human support, protect private cases and reconcile payments. Evidence is optional. Do not upload intimate images or any sexual material involving a child; use non-graphic descriptions instead.
Who processes it
Hosting, email and private storage providers process data needed to operate the service. The configured AI provider processes free chat under its own terms; minimise personal details. Authorised administrators and assigned human support can read cases and messages. Evidence downloads are owner-only and files are not sent to AI. Signed URLs grant access to anyone holding them for up to two minutes; keep them private.
Retention and deletion
Account and support records currently remain until you request deletion. Deletion removes your original user account, sessions, OTP challenges, cases, messages and live evidence objects. Payment/reconciliation history remains with an anonymised account link for accounting, disputes and security. Free text in financial records may need manual privacy review. Backups and legally preserved records are handled separately; every backup is not erased immediately. The operator must publish a legally reviewed retention schedule before public launch.
Erased evidence is replaced by empty private upload markers to stop late uploads from restoring content. These contain no file content and remain until a safe cleanup policy is established.
Access and requests
Sign in below to export information or delete it with a fresh email code. Export contains profile, session metadata, cases, messages, payment details and evidence metadata. Clean evidence can be downloaded separately in My Case; quarantine is never bypassed. Once deletion starts, support access is suspended. A storage failure leaves it pending; retry here, including after signing in again. Contact the operator for corrections or preservation exceptions.
A monitored privacy and grievance contact has not yet been published. This must be completed before public launch. Signed-in export and deletion controls are available below.
